Living with Parkinson.
200 years after the discovery of Parkinson’s disease, the symptoms are still linked mainly to elderly people. Unfortunately the disease also affects a much younger audience: in Flanders more than 1000 people in their 20’s and 30’s are confronted with a disease that turns their lives upside down.
To give a voice and a face to these younger patients, the Vlaamse Parkinson Liga (Flemish Parkinson’s League) is launching this brand campaign. Parkinson’s disease bears many different symptoms that are less known and lead to misconceptions & misunderstanding. Patients are deprived from emotional facial expressions and are forced to live ‘in slow motion’.
This campaign is aimed to raise awareness amongst the general audience and to guide younger patients to comfort and support with peers.
